Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Garlic
This quick recipe will quickly become a favorite go-to side dish
6 slices bacon
2 tsp. olive oil
½ red onion, thinly sliced
2 lbs. Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
6 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Heat non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Heat oil until hot. Stir in bacon, onion and sprouts. Sauté 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add garlic, sauté stirring constantly for another 4-5 minutes until garlic is toasty. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
